PH Embassy Kuala Lumpur Announces Philippine ePassport Renewal Center (PaRC)

To all Filipinos in Malaysia, please be advised that there is now a new process for you to renew your Philippine passport. The Department of Foreign Affairs has partnered with BLS International center in providing a new service location to renew your passport at Al Shoumoukh Towers.

The usual process for Filipinos is to visit the Embassy of the Philippines in Kuala Lumpur for an appointment/appearance. But with this new process taking place, it allows OFWs to have another option in renewing their passports in Doha. There is a convenience fee of RM 113 if you process the renewal at BLS. Take note that this convenience fee is on top of the regular passport Consular fee (worth RM 288).

The great thing about this new office is that they are open 6 days a week and you can simply book a schedule between 10am to 7pm. So even if you are off from your duty hours, you can have an appointment to renew your passport.

ABISO SA PUBLICKO: Advisory No. 60-2021
Philippine Passport Renewal Center (PaRC) in Kuala Lumpur

The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur informs Filipinos in Malaysia and the general public of the establishment of the BLS International – Philippine Passport Renewal Center (PaRC) in Kuala Lumpur. This will provide an option for Filipinos in Malaysia to have their Philippine electronic passports renewed either at the Philippine Embassy or at the PaRC.

The establishment of the PaRC is in line with the efforts of the Philippine Government to address the need for delivery of passport renewal services of Overseas Filipinos, including in Malaysia.

The PaRC will process applications for simple renewal of Philippine ePassports only or applications that do not require changes to the applicant’s biographical details. The Center will open and start processing applications on 15 November 2021. Appointments for the PaRC and other details may be accessed through its website, malaysia.blsphilippinepassport.com.

The PaRC is located at the Ground Floor, 7 & 9, Jalan Medan Tuanku Satu, 50300 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will be open to applications from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Please note that the following applications can be processed only by the Embassy:

  • New passport applications;
  • Lost passport applications;
  • Mutilated passport applications;
  • Applications for renewal of green and maroon passports; and
  • Passport applications that would require any change in the biographical details of the applicant, e.g., change of applicant’s name from maiden name to married name.
