• Skills Training, Capacity-Building and reintegration Services. The POLO and OWWA shall provide a continuous program of OFW skills training and upgrading, capacity-building seminars, and reintegration preparedness for OFWs through their Welfare Officers in the post;
• Special Operations. In coordination with the Head of Mission, the POLO will conduct relief and rescue operations to assist Filipino workers in distress. For this purpose, the POLO will make every effort to establish contacts and liaison with local authorities and support groups in order to gather information and form cooperative relationships.
